Q: Do you use only baskets?

A: Baskets are just one of many container choices that we use in our gift designs. In addition to our HUGE selection of baskets in all sizes, shapes, and colors.....we also have elegant sterling silver nickled-plated trays (which never need polishing!), an assortment of gorgeous tins, colorful crates (great for student gifts!), giant bowl containers (great for popcorn/chips), beautiful graphical box containers (reuseable multi-purpose), fishing pails, etc.
Sometimes we may not use a container at all, such as in our "Tailored Tower" designs.

Q: Do you work with companies and their company gift-needs?

A: ABSOLUTELY! Basket Delights caters to both individual AND company gift-needs. We work with many large and small companies in the Triad area in their everyday gift-needs such as Employee Incentives/Client Appreciation, etc.

Q: Do you have a retail store?

A: No. Basket Delights is located in a warehouse and studio workshop which is not open to the general public. Our long-term success (since 1995) is a result of passing savings directly to the customer. We don't spend your gift dollars in high rental property, fancy displays, and such.
Basket Delights is not a gift shop.....we are a GIFT SERVICE and we operate our business as efficiently as possible.....enabling us to offer you high quality, reasonably priced gifts. Q: What are your delivery charges?

A: Effective October 1, 2005 Basket Delights local delivery charge is $7. This small delivery charge covers the entire Winston-Salem and Clemmons areas. We also offer gift delivery to surrounding communities such as Advance, Mocksville, Lewisville, Rural Hall, King, Stanleyville, Pfafftown, Lexington, Walkertown, Kernersville, etc. for a nominal charge depending on the distance of the community.

Q: Do you ship gifts?

A: Absolutely! Basket Delights ships daily UPS and FEDEX to areas beyond our local delivery routes. Shipping and handling charges are added to the gift cost. Please note that with the explosion of increased gas/transportation costs, shipping fees are currently at an all time high.

Q: Can I get something quickly delivered TODAY?

A: Our usual (excluding Holidays) turnaround is within 24 hours. Orders placed one day are delivered the next. We fill orders on a first-come first-serve basis. Quite often orders are kindly placed days or weeks in advance of an event. If your gift needs are of urgent nature and need to be delivered as quickly as possible on the same day your order is placed, we will do our best to accommodate emergencies, if our schedule allows.

Q: Where do you get gift items?

A: Basket Delights shops with distributors all across the country. Our inventory objective is to offer customers a large selection of high quality, reasonably priced gift and gourmet items. We are constantly on the search for gifts/gourmet that are unique to our area and pleasing to the most discriminating taste. Many of our gourmet products have won industry awards, and we have new items arriving daily!

Q: How do you decide what goes into the gift?

A: We like to receive input from the sender on the gift selection. None of our gifts are pre-made.....all gifts are designed fresh upon order. We consider the occasion/event and any provided knowledge of the recipient, such as favorite snacks, dietary restrictions, favorite hobbies/interests, etc.
The sender may also choose to allow the designer to determine the contents....this is known as the "Designer's Choice".

Q: Can I get a gift delivered at a specific time?

A: Basket Delights offers morning and afternoon delivery schedules. Morning deliveries are made 8:30 - 12:00. Afternoon deliveries are made 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Approximate time deliveries can be accommodated upon request, if at all possible.
NOTE: Additional delivery fees may apply if the delivery routes must be greatly altered to accommodate a specific delivery request.

Q: Can I pick up a gift order?

A: Yes. Basket Delights has a pick-up location for your convenience. Orders for pick-up MUST be placed at least 24 hours in advance, so the gift can be scheduled for transfer from our warehouse to the pick-up location.
Gifts are normally available for pick-up after 12:00 noon.
